What did you do for cables? IIRC I used the old barrel style rather than the eyelet.

Getting closer! I did reinstall the internal rear bar yesterday, I plan to stack my Z51 bar under it, but not sure how much to cut off of the factory brackets.

That looks great. Really nicely done.
Honestly, my biggest thumbs-down on this is the number of adapters and therefore potential leak-points this swap has. I have virtually never seen a swaged-type hose-end fitting leak, but even the venerable AN flare fittings do have the potential, especially if the movement of the suspension causes any twisting action against the hose. And each adapter you need adds an extra leak-point to the system. IIRC there are stock application hoses that work on this swap, that attach directly to the inverse-flare brake-line with a banjo on the other end for the caliper -has anyone looked for a performance Kevlar or braided-steel hose that fits those applications?
But, AN is good, I just bought an AN flaring tool to make a steel hydraulic line for the clutch on my 3.4 DOHC Z-26 project, if you found a similar hose that had a male AN flare on the other side, you could eliminate the inverse-flare to AN adapter and take out that extra leak-point on each side of the car...
Anyway, just a thought, and what you have does look professionally done, I doubt you'll ever have a problem with it.

I'm not going to argue this either. I had to replace a good section of the fuel and brake lines at the rear due to rust, and I'm hoping all is well when I fire it up!Rettax3 wrote:That looks great. Really nicely done.

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.
Yeah, lots of adapters. When I did mine I found a braided hose that had the banjo I needed and did it in one piece. It actually has less connections than factory because the U hose at the axle tube is eliminated.
AN is good stuff though. I wouldn't worry a whole lot.
