The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.
Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.
My old Katana 1100 (now a 1236, I believe) has stainless braided brake lines up front too -I was looking the bike over before taking her out for a couple of good long rides yesterday and today, and I think they put in an adapter at each front caliper, but the lines are direct-fit into the rest of the bike, all the way to the master cylinder -those adapters might even be stock fittings on that bike's calipers, I really don't know, a lot was done to this thing before I got it.
Woody, I like your lines better, but yes, I too am sure there will be no problems with the AN adapters used here -I just want to state again that I think your build (Whiteretta) is coming along great, and looks awesome!

I had one leak, a misaligned crush washer! But it moves and stops again, and the four wheel disc looks great! It's still having a lot of trouble starting though.
And it really needs a bath...

Rear disc swap definitely pushed the rear wheels out a tad!

Internal rear bar looking good!

I also figured I should post my vacuum routing in here too. Best to have it where I can access it easily in case anyone needs a reference.

Thanks to info from Tyler, I found how the Achieva SCX bushings are supported! After lots of research, I found the diagram and the part number!

I feel like hose clamps aren't strong enough for that considering I've stripped them easily with a screw driver when changing radiator hoses. lol. Do they hold good?
I hope those are stainless steel.

The 12338017 is the exact number it shows on their diagram, I'm sure it's stronger than your average parts store hose clamp. Another seller on eBay is selling sets of 5 for $9 shipped, so I ordered a pack, and will see how they work!

This is all I can think off for a stainless clamp that might be made stronger if those dont work:

Yeah, I've been using those t-bolt clamps on mine. I like them a lot better.

Good info, I didn't know how well they'd conform to them!

Dual rear sway bars are on!
I also used ES kit # 9.5157R, it's for 20.5mm bars. Fit great!

Did you have to drill the 2 holes on each end to mount it?
I have one in storage, I was considering adding it to my 96 to help the soft ride suspension.

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.
On that early style rear axle there is already a slot and bolt hole for the rear bar end bracket. He did the same thing as me though and drilled the slot for a bolt with a poly bushing and clamp.
On the 95-96 you do need to drill two holes in the spring perch, but it's pretty easy. I did that on a different car about 15 years ago. I will say, too, the Addco bar was the single biggest suspension improvement I made. Much more bang for the buck than springs or struts/shocks.

Yep, used the slot and the bolt hole, and lock washer-ed it all on! Testing it out tomorrow. Should be a major upgrade from running just my old hollow bar and my MRZ bar in the trunk too!
