Beretta Z28
Re: Beretta Z28
ok........thats enough fun....time to get back to work. the car tested AMAZING and was consistent..
Re: Beretta Z28
Spent alot of time debating on weather or not to make this move.......Decided to remove the molded in rear 3 piece aftermarket wing and go back to the Z26 spoiler and more " stock" appearance in the rear. The Beretta really is one of those cars that has a really balanced side view proportion and attitude and I'm gonna embrace that.
This move will also allow me sculpt the wide body directly to the stock sheet metal of the rear quarter panel which will be a plus if I ever need to make repairs later down the road.
Gonna finish some light bodywork on the rear quarters and get ready to start making some widebody!!!!

Re: Beretta Z28
was able to get these awesome heel plates for the floor pan of the Z28 Beretta made.
looking super fresh and functional !!!!! No more melting shoes and burning heels for myself or my passengers.Re: Beretta Z28
Bodywork on the rear quarters sheetmetal is about done and almost ready to start modeling the widebody overs. And the new Z26 rear spoiler is mounted.
Really digging this new look.

Re: Beretta Z28
A few nice thick coats of primer and body work complete nice and straight...
it dosnt even look like I will have to block these out much.

Re: Beretta Z28
Was a little worried about the part getting die locked in the mold so I made it a 5 piece mold.
Re: Beretta Z28
5 piece rear bumper mold is done. Finally .....

Re: Beretta Z28
Now we are finally ready to start on the wide body fenders. With all the body panels I have mounted again I can actually start on the wide body fenders and quarter panels.....the Beretta has bumpers again. Finally finished creating the molds for these bumpers and was able to put them back on the car.

Re: Beretta Z28
Nice update!
Just looking at the attachment above, I think it would flow better if the cardboard met up at the top of the fender line @ the hood.

Re: Beretta Z28
As can be seen in the pic below. The blue tape line will be the top end of the panel. and the idea was that will lend itself to point to the top or the rear flare as well. So in side view they will be the same height.
Re: Beretta Z28
You could possibly extend the front sideways (move the fenders out) and then add some to the hood, bumper.
Then it would need less added flare.
Something similar

That is damn impressive!! I've been following the whole thread. I couldn't believe it when I saw Midvale, I live right up the road.
