converter question
Well, I found out that my catalytic converter was crap so i'm thinking about putting on a high flow (cheaper). It seems as though the high flows are a bit shorter than a stocker, so my question is, would a high flow fit in and still be able to mount right up to my stock mid pipe with no length/ clearance issues with the rear axle? Just wondering because I was thinking that if it was shorter, it would mean the whole exhaust would be pulled back a few inches or so, possibly meaning clearance issues between the rear axle and the bend in the pipe. Sorry if its a dumb question, thanks in advance for any help.

in order to replace the factory cat with a non-direct fit cat you will either have to hack it together with clamps and a few adapters or use a welder.

ya, I kinda figured that it was best to weld it in. so if I did put it in though, there shouldn't be any clearance issues right?

If the converter is shorter, you just add extra pipe on either side of it to make sure the bends are still at the right spot around the tank & at the axle.
