hi all, got two problems with my 94 3.1.

First got a low coolant light on, since doing my head gaskets, Im pretty sure I just need to bleed the coolant system. I am aware of the bleed valve on the black pipe that comes up from the water pump housing, just wondering what the procedure was for this.

Second, My battery is dying almost on a daily basis. Its a new battery had it about 4 months,(this was happening before the head gasket job)  while it was running I disconnected the ground wire from the batt and it kept running so I figure its not the alternator, also I have power to 4 fuses while the car is off no key in ignition, Fuse numbers 2,6,7,11, pretty sure Ive gotta short somewhere
Any Ideas??

Thanks for any input

found the short, although I still cant make heads or tails of the situation.the short is in one of the orange wires that goes to the MICAM(pink box),I unpluged the MICAM, and the short was gone but nothing works no interior lights, nothing. I broke out the test  light and probed the wires found the short coming from that orange wire, anybody got any wire diagrams of this circut or any ideas whats going on??I have the cheap haynes manual but it doesnt have any reference to this circut.
Any body think this could be coming from the turn signal switch on the column?the switch is loose sometimes ill be driving down the street and look down and the light on the dash is on steady, ill wiggle the switch a little and will go off,but would this be a probable cause for the short?
Anybody have this problem before?

What's a MICAM?

Since something is still drawing power, you should get a multimeter (or ammeter) and measure current draw through each powered wire.  That will lead you directly to the problem.

MICAM, which im not even sure if thats the name for it,I saw it called that on another post, but its the convience center, the box that beeps when you leave the lights on or keys in ignition, also controls interior lights and a few other things
