Digital Guage readout

Post by wil_wil2 »

Hello, I have a '89 Beretta GT, and I am having problems with my digital dash Information Readout(multi-function box in lower right hand corner of cluster).  It is not showing full characters it will only show partial(e.i.: it show a b instead of 6).  And I was wondering if I just need to replace that specific LCD screen, or if it more than that.  Thanks

Typically people replace their entire digital cluster when that happens, and swap the mileage chip from the old to the new.  I honestly don't know if it's the LCD that is the problem, or if it is one of the PCBs.  You could certainly try replacing just the LCD and/or its individual board

I've had mine mess up on me every once in a while, but it's always went back to normal shortly thereafter (like a day or so at the most)
