Check your ECM for corrosion
Check your ECM for corrosion
I was having high idle problems (2000 rpm). I checked everything and swapped lotsa parts. Finally decided to swap ECM. When I pulled mine I saw green corrosion on the ECM's pins and the connector. I cleaned the pins with a tiny wire brush. I used a .040" drill bit to clean the connector holes. I sprayed all with WD-40 and re-assmbled. She idles fine now.
Might be worth checking the wires on the ECM for other weird problems also.
