temperature gauge?

Post by steve.huff »

The temperature gauge on my dash isnt working. I thought maybe the temperature sensor was the thing that was broken but after replacing that it still doesnt work. Does anyone know where i could buy one? either a web site or maybe one of you have one for sale?

Which sensor did you replace?  There are two sensors.  One for ECM other for IP.
A car description would help.

That is for the PCM not IP.  The one you want to replace is located in the rear head on the driverside.

So if i replace that one and its the one thats bad then the gauge on the dash should work. If it doesnt work the gauge its self is bad?
Ill replace it next paycheck and see whats goin on.
Now, if it happens to be the gauge on the dash would you know anywhere other than the junk yard where i could get a new one? cuz i cant find it online anywhere.
