abs sensor location question

Post by rweatherford »

Is your voltage high enough?  This is usually an early sign of alternator failure.

If everything else is fine then you can check the ABS wires and sensors.  Each front wheel has a sensor with a corresponding wire.  The rear wire harness has a single set of wires that attach to the rear axle and then split to go to each rear wheel sensor.  The rear sensors are build into the rear wheel bearings.  The wires on the rear suspension are known to give some problems as are the front sensors and wires.
