Motor Swap

Post by Allen9253 »

i'm lookin for someone who really knows their stuff. two days ago the 2nd gear went out in my transmission and I bent a rod. i was wondering wat engine and transmission i could swap without having to alter too much of the car. i want to put a 3800 II engine in but i don't know if it would work.

The most common and easiest swap is a 3400.  A 3800 Series II will work but will take more extensive modifications.  There should be several other posts on this board about both topics Sorry to hear about your car problems.
