sputtering and losing power when accelerating

Here I go again,This is on a 89 GT beretta,2.8 and it came on all of a sudden. It idles like its going to die, and when I accelerate it loses power and dies.had a hell of a time getting it to start back up and had to hobble it home. It shows no codes.plugs and wires are good.where do I look,Any help is very appreciated. Thank you

Have you ever changed the fuel filter? I changed the one on my girl friend's car because it would only go about 20 MPH or stall after a while and it fixed the issue.

changed fuel filter it did no good.any other ideas?

found what it was it was the fuel pump.replaced it today runs good
