did intake gasket now bad problems

Post by thyreaper »

I just got finished doing the intake and i have few problems. the main one im concerned about is that it hardly runs check engine light is on and alot of the times it dies. now when i unplug the vacume lines it runs fine... I broke the plastic lines and had to rig my own... and I dont think I have them correct. Can someone plz link me to a diagram or post one plz... I have lines going to the egr valve, round canister that sits below the coolant res, and the line on the fuel rail...  the original lines i had broke in couple placed when i was removing the intake... plz help I need that vacume line routing.

There is a diagram on the underside of your hood or around the engine compartment somewhere.

What assembly?  I assume you have the 3100?  The metal line at the front of the engine?  What year is your car?

Only place to get those lines is GM.  They may not even be available any more.

Had some bad lines and could not find them anywhere, pick-a-part was only option for the issue.  Went through and found the rubber part they fit in too.
