Congratulations to Niagara Falls, ON for winning the location poll for BerettaFest 2008. I would truly like to thank eveyone that participated (and debated) in the voting this year. I for one am very excited for our first excursion across the border for the main BerettaFest. Remember to stay tuned throughout the planning process as we will keep you updated as to what is going on, and what we are adding to our itinerary. Thanks again for voting, and congrats Niagara Falls!

Do we need passports yet?
If we do then everyone should probably apply now if they don't have one, I hear there's a pretty long waiting list

The latest thing I've seen on the Homeland Security website, is that they will start the implementation of the passport law for driving in/out of Canada at the end of January 2008. The completion of this is expected to be "summer 2008". So essentially it is 50/50 right now. If the law implementation of air is any indicator, it may be postponed late than summer '08. My reccommendation for anyone planning to go, or planning on going across a border in the next 10 years, is to go get your passport right now. You will be guaranteed to get in then. I've been to the Canada side of the Falls before- its worth the price of a passport.
