Hey yall!

Post by mustangman70 »

well im a speed freak, my 70 mustang before i started restoring it had nitrous and a **** load of other motor work but it had too much rust so im fixin it all.

I have 3 bikes, a yamaha virago, yamaha yzf600 and a honda CB1000. Im also about to fix my truck itch with a 79 bronco on 38's

And of course my beretta!!!!! A little bit about it.

Its a 89' 2.8 auto. And i got it for free.....yes thats right....free from my neighbor who i knew for years, i had replaced the fuel pump for him a few years ago and when he died he left it to me  ÂÂÂ

I have major plans such as a 5 speed swap and a 3800 swap or the 3100 or 3400 swap if possible. I WANT the 3800 SC motor b ut i love turbos too. i really need to get some nice suspension and lower the car too

I can weld and fabricate if needed, ive rewired cars before and rebuilt countless motors.

Heres some pics ÂÂÂ

I need to paint the car....dont hate...the above paint job was one really drunk afternoon with rattlecans with 15 mph winds hahaha

And the 87 sticker is a joke at the local track with a few friends of mine haha...mods right now are only rims/tires, intake and exhaust

1989 beretta- 2.8 auto future plans include either a 3800 SC 5 speed swap or an LS1 6 speed RWD conversion....

My dash is the same as yours(cracks and color), in fact the whole inside is the same(less the power windows and the steering wheel). I have a 90GT, it looks like they were the same color outside at one time. Any plans for paint? Hey, I just wish I had some paint(ha,ha). Mine looks great if you squat down and only look at the sides. Good to have another older Beretta here.

Yes it was red, lol i didnt even primer half the car when i painted it.

The sad thing is i can do some nice body work when i try haha

I build high performance boats for a living and deal with alot of carbon fiber and kevlar...I think the plan for the interior will be a carbon dash and door panals, black carpet and some nice seats. But first will come the motor swap, 5 speed and suspension

Nice vehicle collection, make it harder when you're trying to work on a bunch of stuff at once though... I know your pain there

Let me know how the dash and door panels work out. I thought that I had found some door panels and sent a email to the place and got one back asking where they go on the car, not good. They want like $300 for each.
