I get about 400mi (highway) if I run it down to about an 8th (or little less) of a tank, from completely full. Usually once I hit the 8th mark, I can go another 25mi or so before I hit E, and the most I've driven from E is ~12mi before I decided I should fill up.
I don't do enough frequent city driving to keep track of my mpg for that. Back when I had one dead coil pack, and one failing coil pack (so, running on 2-4 cyl most of the trip), I was getting 500mi to the tank, but of course my acceleration sucked, lol.

My Ford '05 gets about 20-21 on the Hwy and 16-18 City. Averages out to about 520 miles on the Hwy per tank and 416 City if I ran it dry, which I of course don't. I try to keep all my vehicles at a 1/4 tank or above to be easy on the fuel pumps! Not bad for a 5.4L Triton V-8,eh?! Of course the Ford has a 26 gallon fuel tank.
The '94 Achieva OHC Quad gets around 30 to the gallon all around. Which averages out to like 450 per tank. 15.8 gallon tank.
The '07 GSX-R....come on....ridiculous! At least 40 mpg even if I'm driving it like a bat outta hell. 4.5 gallon tank.
And the new Beretta GTZ's and the '92 Achieva SC with HO Quad? Remains to be seen, but I'm expecting AT LEAST 25mpg.

With the GTZ I get about 500 miles on a tank of gas highway.
I rarely fill up the car unless I am going on a long trip so I don't know about city driving.

Just a side note here folks.
Gasoline alsoworks to cool the fuel pump, and it's not good to run the tank too low too often.
Fuel pumps are a pain to change.
