Question about the Goodrich SS Lines
Can someone that has the Goodrich SS lines get me the overall length (from the end of the fitting to the block that bolts to the caliper)?
I also need to know if these brake lines come with the brackets that bolt to the struts.
I installed these on Ribz' old 91 GT several years back, and I can't remember anything about them to answer my own questions.
Thanks!

Question about the Goodrich SS Lines
Geoff
I have two sets sitting here on the shelf.
Long ones are 13 1/2" total
Short ones are 8 1/2" total
The part number on these are 12224 and say 82-89 Beretta (LOL)
No brackets.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Question about the Goodrich SS Lines
Is one for your 92 and the other for the 91?
The reason I ask, is because the cars with FE7 bars had a two-piece hose design to clear the endlinks on the FE7 bar.
13.5 seems kinda short.... my stock lines are longer than that...

Question about the Goodrich SS Lines
These are ones I bought when Tire Rack was selling them off for $12 or something.
Part number is G12224 and I'm pretty sure they would be too short for the 92+ set up now that I look at them.
One set will make it onto the Quad, and the other may just sit here unless someone wants it.
But you're right. I can't see them fitting the FE7.

Weird... the P/N on Tirerack's site is 12225... I'll email them and see if they can double check.
Thanks for your efforts Eric!

Question about the Goodrich SS Lines
The 12225 kit is for the 95's (which I'm assuming is for all the 92-96 cars with FE3 and below suspension).
The customer service rep said the front lines were 16". Hmm... time for more measurements...

Question about the Goodrich SS Lines
I just ordered the 12225 for my 92 with fe7 suspension. They had a five line kit that said it was for the HD suspension. They no longer lsit it on the website. When I ordered mine it said they had 2 left. I will try and get some measurements for you. I do not know if they fit or not because I have not installed them yet. They did not come with a bracket for the struts either.

Question about the Goodrich SS Lines
I think I'm just going to order some for a 97-03 W-body... they are 18.5" long up front, which is enough to reach the C5 calipers when the suspension is fully extended. C5 lines are even longer than that, and I don't want to mess with too long of a line.

Question about the Goodrich SS Lines
They certainly do. Upgrading to SS brake lines will remove/greatly reduce the "spongy" pedal feel. It also reduces the amount of pedal pressure you need to apply to stop. Plus, they won't "bloat" like the stock lines do over time.

Question about the Goodrich SS Lines
Just a warning, I ordered 2 sets from the tirerack and got a bunch of garbage. 2 sets with open boxes that were incomplete and not even CLOSE to the proper lines.
I ordered some from a guy on ebay and got lines that fit perfectly WITH the brackets that bolt to the struts. Much happier now.
