Interchange years?

Post by SuzukiGhostRider »

I'm sure it's been asked and answered a thousand times but....
What all years as far as interior parts will interchange with my '88 GT? All? I know the dash 91+ can but requires modding. I'm basically talking straight up bolt in. I'm hunting parts in various areas and have found some nice parts on Ebay, but need to know interchange years. Thanks.

91+ they changed the interior and the lock/handle mechanism in the doors. So you could put those parts in but it would take a lot of time/effort to make it work.

88 the seatbelts were mounted on the B pillar, 89-90 they were in the doors(with the old body style) So yea everything 87-90 will fit.

like mentioned above dash and door panels are 87-90 for your car, but all other body parts are interchangeable. I have 95 and 96 beretta body parts going on my 90 Indy.

Just a little incorrect there.

The 87 and SOME of the 88 belts were pillar mounted. The remaining 88 thru 90 were door mounted. Then the 91-93 were pillar and 94-96 were door.
