ECU question
ECU question
so i fried my ecu on my 91 3.1 5-speed gt
i have the ecu from my old 91 quad gtz - would it be possible to just switch memcals? or do i need to get a new ecu altogether?
if i need a new one... does anyone have one lying around?
and does it matter if it is from a automatic or manual car? or does just the memcal matter?

ECU question
Yes manual and auto matter for rev points/limiters especially. As to the interchange I think it would work. All you should have to do is swap the memcal chips as they should hold the rev limit info, etc. They should interchange as I'm assuming your GTZ is a 3.1L? I would look up the ECU part numbers to see if they match up.
ECU question
Quad 4's have different ECU's
I can get you a ECU for $38 shipped..you swap your memcal
