Painting the car

Post by JeffD »

I got a  INDY gfx set from the junkyard, it needs work and so does the rest of my car so I've been thinking about paint.

tell me what you think. this is just the base color, after I decide what color it's getting there will be stripes and the wheels are getting painted.

This should be a multiple choice quesiton..

I like...

Magnetic Red Metallic from a C5

Brazen Orange Metallic from a '06 GTO

Any of the newer dark grey metallics (Like Thunder Grey on Cadillacs)

yeah I know, I love it on the last year grand ams, I think it would look good, I have a couple of friends that I have tossed the idea around with, and they like the garnet which I also like. I asked my girlfriend what she thought, and she had a great idea of garnet with almond/white stripes. i'm going to try photoshopping that tonight. unfortunately she wasn't to keen on the orange. so seeing that she probably will spend the most time in the car other than myself she should have a big say in it. we'll see how the photoshopping comes out.
