Looking For Some Help One PCV System?

Post by speedemon »

Hi There

I have a 94 Beretta Z26 with a 3.1 V-6 engine. I'm in need of the PCV valve 90-degree connector elbow that attaches the PCV valve to the hose. Does anyone know if these are still available from the dealer or is it a complete hose assembly? Any availablity on these items at all or is there any where I can get this. I don't want to rig something or mickey mouse it as our car is still in very good condition as I want to replace it with a correct part. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Junkyard would be your best/cheapest bet.  Try bringing the piece in to the parts store and maybe they can find something close to it.  Or go to the dealer and buy brand new.

The PCV elbow is available in the Help! brand at any Autozone or comparable that carries that brand. Then just buy the right length and size of rubber hose. You won't be able to tell the factory didn't do it!

That may be for the earlier models, but on the later models are the formed nylon lines which the elbow comes as an assembly with the lines from the dealer. It is still available and here is the current GM part number 10230635 with the retail price at $29.91

I did what SGR said, but I had to get some cut to fit hose because the old hose broke in half when I pulled the PCV out. I tested all the 90's (checked the valve) to see which one was most like my old one. The old line was like yours and the new set up worked well. There was no way that I could get a new stock one, GM doesn't have anything for cars that are 10 years old.
