Gauge Cluster Compatibility
Gauge Cluster Compatibility
Wanting to know what years have compatible gauge clusters with the '96, and if Corsica clusters are identical (I assume they are). My '96 has the standard cluster and I need my oil pressure info! Other than that, I'm familiar with the details of the swap. (Need new oil sending unit, etc.)
Thanks!
Thanks!

Corsica ones are the same, but I doubt you'll find a Corsica with a full gauge cluster.
You need one from a 96 Z26 due to OBDII compatibility reasons. Unless you feel like running a wire from your ICM through the engine harness, through the firewall, and into the cluster in the pin for the tach readout.

Excellent, thanks for the info! (I thought '95s were OBD-II also?)

I believe it was actually 95 1/2 up, but it's hit or miss the way I understand it. That's probably why Woody said '96 only to save you the headache of hit and miss with '95 gauge pods. GL.

They went to OBD-II towards the end of the 95 year. There are very few 95's left that are OBD-II. And most were bases. If you search for 96 you will have a better chance of getting one that will work the first try out.
