So I decided Purple was a bit too loud even for me and after only a few weeks I'm already sick of everyone I see asking me "But why purple?". So I decided on my favorite color on a car when it's in good shape..... Jet Black. Here's the gas cap I painted and cleared tonight. It's resting on a white lid before anyone asks what that white thing is... Let me know what y'all think. I wanted to test the color on a small piece before I did the bigger pieces. Came out fugging awesome!!!

I also think that it would look good. As you all can tell I'm a big SGR supporter. Man, SGR you must go through alot of sandpaper. Where do you find the time to do all of this? It has taken two weeks for me to go and look at a 95 Beretta(hope to see and test drive it Saturday).
keep'em flying!

For that color you didn't even need to test it out. Jet Black is a made of win color.

So, upon seeing these pics Yellow/Black will be the new paint scheme. I'll leave the gas cap black as well to break up the yellow a bit.
New Paint Choice
Yeah, I think that Black is mucho better, My only thoughts are that you are going to need to sand everything and be sure that every little defect is gone or you'll regret it. black cars need to be PERFECT. and every spot of dust and splash of mud WILL drive you mad! lol, I think it's a good color, better than purple.

thats a car I painted last year. the door doesn't look right, only cause it's dirty.
It has gloss stripes on flat black.

I decided against black or black/yellow. I think this will look pretty good. I dunno about blue on the gas cap and grill or yellow? Opinions?
New Paint Choice
NO NO NO NO NO! You may want bright colors, but those colors make it look like a toy.
Heres are a couple Pics I made up for you:
Personally I like the gunmetal blue one best.

So now that I've jerked your chains a bit (you didn't REALLY think I was going to paint my car like a Michigan Wolverine did you? ) I'll show you the real paint scheme. I WAS considering all black and black/yellow,but never had any intention of painting it blue/yellow. This is the color scheme the Ghetto Blaster will be getting.... I'll be using True Blue and Jet Black. The photoshop colors below are a damn near exact match to the colors so this is what it will look like done for the most part. Seriously, this is the one. I don't know wth I was thinking with the Purple. Was fun for a few weeks in shock value, but got old quick. Blue/Black are a classic that never gets old.Let me know what you think!

BTW, those are good renderings 3800. I like the scheme except for the black lower filler panel. I really do like the idea, but the blue/black scheme I just posted will be the one. Thx for the effort though!
New Paint Choice
I did the filler black just to break up the colors.
Oh my gosh you had me going on the scheme! lol!
the blue/black looks good.

I know I change my mind more than my underwear, but I was messing with photoshop and decided to try red. Damn if ain't SEXY. So now I've got a dilemma again. Red/Black or Blue/Black. Me and the woman both agree the red fits better.... You decide what you think and tell me.
