I'm nuts!
Sounds like a perfect project car with alot of potential. I have a different engine lined up for it, should be getting that sometime next month.I plan on actually starting on the Indy project in afew weeks.

Thanks sousa632, I felt strange and lost without one. 95Z26beretta, I had to have a project. My 04 Cav has a few paint chips that's it, so all I do is look at it. To get to know and love a car you have to get your hands dirty and bleeding. Keep me updated on the Indy. 6r8ph1X, I did get the Rapidfire pulgs (they are hard to gap), the wires are Borg Warner(lowest ohms for stock replacement). I have some MSD coils on order. I'll try to get some pics soon, this weekend I'll be out of town(the Cav gets the call on this one, the Beretta is not ready for a long trip yet). By the way, I have a 4T60E trans. I miss my 3T40(I could pull 1st at 30mph and really rip). The 4T60E is not set up for that, it goes down to low(2nd gear). Is there any way to change the linkage and the shifter to get it into 1st? The 4T60E is more or less a FWD 700r4 right? I had that trans in my 83 Z28 and I hate the gear spread(1st to 2nd).

The whip? You guys are cracking the whip on me for pics! If I have to finish off a roll after this weekend(if the weather holds out) I take some of the car in and out. Do you guys want all the good things, or some of the problem spots(to later show the work done)? I'm off work on Thursday, but need to take care of the tags and taxes.

Thanks Styluss, yes that thing will be gone soon. Stupid things bolts are rusted, so I may have to cut it off. Very cloudy here now, not good for photos.
