Well I'm pimping the Corsica now. The GTZ is on hold and to tell you the truth I would rather do the work and make the Corsica something cool. 96 + 4 doors and working air FTW!! 90 no working air and 2 doors with 2 kids FTL even if it is a Quad. I have had more luch with a v-6 than the quad. Anyone could still snatch up the GTZ from me if you are seriously interested but dont waste my time otherwise....... anyway....
I have been doing some things to the Corsica already. I put the STB on it, LTZ grill, and tinted the rear windows myself with 5%. Not too shabby IMO. I did the back window with the 6" strips and it made it much easier. I have a couple very small bubbles that I have to wait till the fluid dries so I can get them to flatten out. I also have no defroster lines to hide the lines on but oh well.
I'm getting a new fender tomorrow and that will go on, then I have to do some body work to get the dents out of the passanger doors. Then paint!!
Here's another little tidbit going on the car
I'm doing the Z front and rear. That bumper was BRM when I got it and it had the Z smile(cracked in the center) and the whole right side lower valance was broken off. After I used plastic weld and a TON of sanding to get it nice I painted it with a brush and rustoleum paint... It looks DAMN good for costing me about $8 to paint and about $10 for the plastic weld. And that final coat wasnt wetsanded/polished either. Here's the link to the whole topic on painting over on BStuff. http://www.bstuff.com/index.php?showtopic=55477
MUCH more to come.

When will you get it on? I think I posted on this somewhere else, or am I wrong? Thought you had something for the sides also.

Yep I have a full Z kit to go on it. It will take a bunch of fab work to get the sides to work and I have to get front and rear bumper supports so I can put the bumpers on but it'll be tits when it's done. I already have the spoiler all set up and marked to mount but it's been raining on and off for the past 2 days so I cant get it on there yet.

For those who didnt see it on bstuff...
Took the stock bumper off.........
Look at how good that bumper support looks....
Had to cut the inside lip on the Z bumper and cut a notch in the bumper support to clear the license plate holder(thanks for pointing me in the right direction Ryan!) Not that bad.....
This is the hole I had to cut in the bumper support
On the car now till I get it all mounted properly. I need to get a bigger drill bit to make the holes to mount the sides of the spoiler down.
I have to get some cutting to make it nice and clean
I think I'm going to spray the part between the tail lights where the plate was white just to match the car for now till I figure out what I'm going to do to fill that gap. I hate the way the black looks there. More to come when I get it all mounted and temporarily painted....................

So I was thinking about what I wanted to do with the plate section. Here's what I came up with. I was thinking about taking a taillight housing and modding it to fit in the center section.
Taking this.....
And making it look like this(along with the de-badging).....
Maybe do a nightshades to tint the center or get an older style flat taillight(not the ribbed ones I have)........
Meh....... I just did a quick photochop and I dont like the "tinted' center. Maybe the flat taillight and paint it white using the part that has the chevy symbol painted black.
More things to think about. #1 priority though is getting teh rear fully mounted on there. Then look for a front support and get the front bumper on. Then I'll worry about the "filler"

She's on! I have to do some small touchups with the plastic weld but it looks pretty damn good. I also shot it with 99 cent wally world white spray paint so at least the whole car will be white(although it's a brighter shade). I also sprayed the original license plate housing and I think it looks better than it did in black, only till I make the filler.... anyways, onto the pics!
The center still bulges out some. It looked good yesterday bt for some reason today it's still bulging a little. Oh well I can get behind it and bend the metal to correct it. Nothing big
Here's how I mounted the sides. Worked out pretty well but it was a ***** to get a good shape to.
Drivers
Passangers
I have to take a bigger drill bit and make the holes in teh trunk lid so I can get the end mounting screws on so the spoiler isnt popped up on the corners. Pleanty more to come when I get the front bumper support and get teh front bumper on too.

Dang man, you have been hard at it. I kinda like the rib filler and it will light up(not sure if you are going to need some sort of backing for that). Will you need lights for the plate in the new place? Don't want to hear the cops are on you about that.
I like it sousa!

I'm thinking about making it light up like the marker lights but not when I apply the brakes. I do have a light right above the new plate location but I have to wire it up. Right now everything is in place but none of the electrics are working cause I have to do the wiring. It'll be cool when ti's all set up and done.
Now I have to do the front and get to work on the sides.

Agreed. The filler in the middle is sweet lookin'
I never really liked the way most corsicas looked until I saw them with the Z04 stuff on.

Well the moment you all ahve been waiting for....................she's DONE(for now)
I even painted the center part by the lights the factory black.
Wh00t!!!
And a little sneak at the filler. I still have to do more trimming at the top but I wanted to see what it would look like.
