Had the Quad out today

Post by Asylum »

It's been about a month since I had even started this puppy, but the weather was nice, and today was a Civic Holiday (Evidently honouring the Honda Civic I suppose) so I went for a drive to use up about a half tank of Premium fuel for no apparent reason.

DAMN this thing is fun to drive!

Everything worked perfectly, it actually saw 6000 RPM in 2nd gear, and it's pretty kewl. (I know, I'm a whimp.)

Still a stupid little car! But it was fun on the backroads.

ROFL!

I know what you mean. Everytime I wanted to get rid of the GTZ I just took it above 6K then I was good. Till I had the strut blow and take out the fuel line. That was the nail in the coffin. They are addictive cars/motors.

OK I sort of get it, I think.

So if I "ghost-whip" my 3500 and take my 225 lb arse out of it, and it runs 2 tenths quicker, does that count?

Or have I TOTALLY missed the concept?

Never mind! I'm old and I don't really care.

BONER, You owe me a beer!

I actually hit the fuel shut off/rev limiter ONCE!

Scared the crap out of me.

It was coming down a very long on-ramp and it hit the limiter in 2nd gear.

I'll never do that again.
