Today might have been the best day

Post by Asylum »

I took the Quad out for a drive today, just because I didn't have anything else to do, and my dear wife was having a pool party for her teacher friends to celebrate the end of the summer vacation.

I made all the veggie trays, pickle and cheese trays, and had everything the way she likes it.

LONG story short.

I'm sitting at a Stop Light, with the windows down,(too nice for the A/C) and a Honda pulls up beside me.

He powers down his window and I'm thinking, Oh F*&%** here we go with the crap.

Young fellow, I'm guessing 25 or so says to me "That is the NICEST damn Beretta I have EVER SEEN! Damn that thing is sweet!"

I said thank you, and then noticed he's driving a RIGHT HAND DRIVE Honda Civic that is about as "Un-Rice" as you could imagine.

He then takes a second look and yells. "I KNOW YOU! You have that blue one from Cayuga! Eric something, RIGHT?"

The light went green and I made my left turn, and gave him a wave.

DAMN that made my day!!

Clutch is working fine, to my total amazement. That stock stuff is obviously pretty good.

Goes for paint on Sept 29th, and will likely be gone most of the winter.

More and more I'm thinking thats whats gonna happen with pinky... soon after NE its gonna be headed to my cousins and getting as much treatment as I can fit on a credit card since If I'm doing it I might as well spend the money and do it right so I don't have to do it again.

That's what it's all about man. People notice nice cars and the people that drive them, and you've done a great job of building your reputation. You certainly get the respect you deserve!
