blazer throttle body

i wanna know if a 97 chevy blazer throttle body fits in a 2.8v6 motor. they blazer has the vortec v6 and i was looking at the throttle body and they diameter looks a little bigger than my stock one

On this I'm not sure. What I do know is that the 4.3 TB's linkage is set up for RWD. That and the hole in upper intake is not the same size. A bigger TB is not going to help if you haven't done anything else to the engine. What is your goal and how much do you want to spend? There are alot of cams out there for the 2.8/3.1 and reman engines for about $1500. Many people will burn chips for you after you do some mods. I was going to build a 3.1(lost the car),so I'll be happy to talk about a build with you.
