On my 95 if I turn the heater on the heat goes to the floor and the vents(then just the floor after time). The center control is leaking and I hear it every time I change where the nob is. These things are hard to get and not cheap. All that I can find is the whole thing. Is there any way to rebuild the vac switch?

I think I know what you're talking about...  I will still need a pic though.  If it is what I think it is, I should have it laying around.

Make sure the vacuum line that runs by the battery tray is not deteriorated.

I'm sure you know what it is. I'll check the line this weekend, last time I looked the top was ok. I'll have to find where it ends up at and check there too. This may take some time to get the pic, I have to put a new belt tensioner on and go to the JY.

Ok this is what it looks like after I took it apart to see if it could be rebuilt(no it can't be).

The bad thing is that on putting in the JY one I broke the left side mount on the panel. It still holds, but now I have to look for a new one. The JY one does leak, but stops quickly. I had to do the work from the back because I'm not sure how to take the after market radio out. At least the heater no longer goes through the vent(didn't want the vents to crack).

Sorry 1988GTU, my JY part is not working now and I just bought a new one. Thank you for the offer! I just couldn't take much more of this. The cost was $137 for the whole thing and was very hard to find.
