Want some new struts? What brand springs to buy? How much camber to run? What brake pads? What's the best setup for your situation....

For what they're about to "charge" you to do ONE axle you can buy two axles and do them yourself!

I know a rebuilt axle is about 50.00 around here (to the public) and a new axle is about 90.00 (to the public) .  Figure it out, you buy the one new one or reman (either will be fine for a stock application) then buy the ball joint.  Throw it all on yourself and you saved money (unless you need to buy all the tools, jack/stands) .

Ok man, I can tell you that labor is 150 bucks to do anything with the sturts, what ever you do and that's each side. The mounts are cheap, but you can't change them without a press. Monroe makes a full strut replacement and I mean everything(struts, springs, mounts and dust cover). The bad part of it is that the struts are Sensa-Trac. They are too soft and don't react to bumps well. The good part is that you only need a spring compresser to take the old ones off and put the new ones on. Then you would just need to do the ball joints and tie rod ends for a full rebuild. The cost for the full replacement is something like $500. High I know, but it's something to think about. Guess that the mount is the only thing left to make the pop, or a motor/trans mount.
