Open Call to the community: New Logo for Bnet

As the first community involvement project, I have decided to let the community design the new logo for bnet. You can attach the images to your posts here until we vote on them, but once we pick I would like to get a copy of the source image, if using photoshop a .psd file, if using anything else the native format for that software.

The only restriction is that it be work safe so no naked chicks lol

In terms of it matching the current board skin, we will make a new skin around the final pick, or if the turnout is large enough, possibly have a few skins on rotation.

The old one is dirty, if we were to reuse it we would need to clean it up. I wanted to have more community involvement, if that means a vote for the old logo, then so be it. I know we have a lot of artists on the board though and figured it would be a good chance for them to show us what they can do.

I would say not much...

However, I think a new logo would be cool. Maybe something more beretta specific like some tail lights in the background or something.


Maybe even overlay the old banner overtop of a new background picture?

Question for you all. What sort of elements would you like to see in a new logo? Shot of a retta or 2 I am sure, but anything specific? I am game for this, just need to see what other ideas are floating around. I will also need some really nice shots of beretta's that aren't mine, as I don't want to be self serving but they have to look OEM. I may use portions or a collage or something of several. I have a nifty idea that I think will work, but just want to get some good shots from others for it. Please do not send me something that may have been submitted to some calendar somewhere... lol

Oh, and I will need an idea for the background color of the banner, but I can easily CHANGE it later if site design gets underway. I can also just match it to the current theme, but I can make it match whatever it needs to later as well. Just let me know.

If anyone makes a banner I would like to get the source file from them, same thing with a logo. Background color doesn't matter as a result so design for what you think looks best.
