Re: AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!!!
Well first off, its low or empty why? Is it leaking or did you replace a part and not recharge it?
You can do it 2 ways... Bring it to a shop and have them recharge it, OR go to Wally World or autozone and buy one of those filler cans with a gauge and follow the directions on how to fill a 134a system.

it is empty and i bought a recharge canister with the gauge. i need to fill it up but im not sure where to fill it at. i found a blue cap on a u shaped pipe attached to the ac compressor. i couldnt get the cap to come off though so im not sure if it is the correct cap.

Re: AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!!!
The line coming off the back of the compressor is where you hook the hose to. You have the right location. Those caps can be on there pretty tight, might want to use a pair of pliers to get it off (carefully though, you don't want to break the aluminum line!)
Make sure you have your AC set to MAX, and have the blower speed on 4 (fastest setting).
If your system is out of refrigerant though, you might want to put a dye in the system to figure out where the leak is, as you have one since there isn't anything in the system now.
Make sure you have enough cans to completely charge the system. IIRC, the 3100 system uses 2.25 lbs.

Re: AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!!!
Uh, like Cliff said above, R134A was standard in 94. My 95 has it. No need to convert.ajsberetta wrote:ok ur car is a 95 sooo you will need to convert it from r12 to r134a(chevy may have started to use r134a but was not law untill 96) autozone sells a kit. i dont know where your lowside service port is ifs its like a v6its hell to get to stupid gm stuck it between the firewall and the engine under the alternator. if you have a leek it will need to be fixed and will need to buy a new receiver dryer and have a vacuume pulled on the system to boil out the water. have fun I replaced my whole system took for ever but it was worth it
And what are you talking about the service port being on the firewall for? Do you HAVE a Beretta? If you did, you'd know where the service port is. And the firewall is WRONG.
I hate to say this, but if you don't KNOW something, don't post about it. It does nothing but spread false information and confuses people that are trying to find the CORRECT answer.

Re: AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!!!
That is where the low-side port is on some of the models. Attached to the pipe that goes into the evaporator core.
