My car. 1994 z26 3500 5-speed

Post by Barry »

Heres my car. Its a 1994 z26. I did a 5-speed swap and a 3500 swap. It is running on megasquirt to overcome the 5-speed issues and be able to tune. I just installed a innovate lc1 so I can get this thing running better.

Ill probably take some engine bay and interior shots later. The engine bay is nothing special. The interior is gray and black with green indy seats(the stripe looks awesome with my paint)

One request.... Can you please resize the photos... Unfortunately we don't have that auto resize function like on other boards... so I would, and I'm sure many others as well would appreciate 1024x768 photos and such, so they can see the whole picture on their screen. It's even too large for my 1280x1024 resolution.

Thanks

;)

Let me know how well you make out with that LC-1... I hear good things about it and then I hear bad things about it such as the pain in the ass calibration steps you need to do, and how easily it gets f-ed up... I think thats kinda why I bought a PLX.... you just plug it in and go.... nothing needed, and the Bosch sensors are readily available OTC at autozone and such.

Ill try to resize these now.

As for the LC-1, Im a little frustrated with it right now. So far I have it installed, and hooked to my MS. I did not put the gauge on yet. It works EXCELENT for like 10 minutes, then it just takes a crap, It just outputs a random voltage until I shut it off and turn it back on. I have to attatch the gauge to see if this is a lc1 issue or a MS issue.

Ill see how it goes. As for calibration, its pretty simple. The included led and pushbutton works well, Ill mount them in the console. That way I can see when its up to temp.

From what Ive seen, Innovates customer service sucks. Hopefully it all works out.
