NEWBIE HERE WITH MY NEW 91 BERETTA!

Post by 91Beretta3.1 »

WELL I JUST JOINED IM 16 AND BOUGHT MY FIRST BERETTA. ITS A 91 3.1 BASE. I GOT IT FOR 850, SO FAR I HAVE REPLACED THE RADIATOR MUFFLER STRUTS SHOCKS SPRINGS TRANSMISSION PAN AND SOME OTHER STUFF. THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM DID SOME STUFF TO IT THAT I DID NOT LIKE AT ALL HE TOOK THE CAT OUT SO ITS RUNNIN STRAGHT PIPE AND HE PUT ONE OF THE LOUDEST MUFFLERS I HAVE EVER HEARD ON IT. HE ALSO TOOK THE STOCK SPRINGS AND CUT THEM DOWN SO IT WOULD RIDE LOWER WITCH I HATED IT RODE LIKE ROCK. THE NEXT THING I WANT TO DO IS GET THE RIMS SAND BLASTED TO GET ALL THE RUST OFF OF EM AND THEM GET THEM PAINT EITHER SILVER OR FLAT BLACK. SO HERE ARE SOME PICS LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. (BY THE WAY THE PICS THAT ARE FIRST ARE THE PICS BEFORE THE NEW STRUTS MUFFLER AND ALL THAT STUFF WAS PUT ON.THE PICS ON THE BOTTOM ARE THE MOST RECENT) SO JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.

Ease up on the caps lock there.... Its hard to read something thats ALL IN CAPS BECAUSE YOU GET LOST IN ALL THE LETTERS AND CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT TO READ NEXT, NEVERMIND IT LOOKS LIKE YOUR YELLING!!!! :sparta

BUT holy drop it like its hot... lol, that guy killed the suspension. I will strongly suggest getting the proper sized tires on there now, looks like your running on lawn mower tires right now. Best of luck with the rest of it.

EDIT*
Did that car have a factory rear swaybar?? If so he killed some good Z51 springs and now you probably have stock Base ones on there, then again this is not tagged anywhere as a GT... He might have just nabbed some 15" steels from somewhere, or are they 14"?

I dont know how to tell if its a z51. I see berettas with rear bars all the time at the yard but they are hollow usually.

Most acheivas and cavis got the bar too.

I want mine to be that low, but with proper size tires...

Glad to see that you got rid of those springs that were cut! That is not a good thing to do. I don't know why people think that they can do that and still be safe.

Those wheels are 14s for sure. I had them on my old base. Not to mention that you can see the tire size in one of the pics.
