Emergency repair help needed.

Post by voreoscentia »

So i've been driving around in the rain all day. I came home to pee and check something. No more than ten minutes before I went to leave and when I went to start car it turned once then nothing. No power whatsoever. '90 Indy is the car in question. Anyone have similar problem or idea where to start looking? I have one plug wire thats messed up, but it looked dry still

Was the alt charging before? Did you try to jump start it? One bad plug wire will not keep it from starting. I know your thinking that it killed a coil, but the engine should still turn over if the coil is bad.

Sure man, no problem. I was thinking about asking about the cables by the way. :) I did think you would check that first though(lol). The best repairs are the free ones.
