help with beretta center console removal please simple HELP!
I can't figure out how to get the center console out of my 93 beretta. I have remove the two screws in the back compartment deal, but there still seem to be something holding it down in the middle or something, but no more screws/bolts are visible inside the car. do i need some sort of special tool? or is there a bolt coming from the bottom holding it down or something? please help. . need to fix cigarrette lighter to have tunes in car. thankyou

Remove the shift knob by removing the U shaped staple (pull it out with a pair of needle nose pliers, and pull up on the knob).
Pry the shifter plate up (start in the bottom right corner, I think there is a small slot to stick a screw driver in). Then you will see the remaining bolts holding the console in place.
If you need to take the whole console out, don't forget to pop the power window switch out of place and disconnect the wiring (if you have power windows that is).

It helps to shift all the way to "1" to see that clip in the shifter. It's in a little notch.

Also don't forget the light bulbs for the cup holder and indicator for what gear the transmission is in. Plus you have to take off the ebrake handle. Good Luck.
