Struts and springs
Re: Struts and springs
i think the rotors are bigger. plus baer brakes makes a good conversion for the cavi, as well as SSBC.
as far as brake up grades , with the 17's its a bitch to slow it. i think i read on here that the Z26 rotors were bigger or something. im not gonna worry about rears just the fronts

Re: Struts and springs
i guess are they bigger then the GT stuff on the 91 ? it seems like it take alot more force to stop those rollers

Re: Struts and springs
What ever happened to liking Eibach springs? Sure your not dragging your muffler on the ground, but it offers lowered stance, and better performance (just a tweak better then gtz springs and lower to boot)
Million mile warranty last I saw.

Re: Struts and springs
eibach stuff is over priced. springs will come but im a bit nore concerned with stopping right now w/ these SRT-4 wheels

You get what you pay for... remember that, and with Automotive parts the penalty is sometimes catastrophic.Showoff91BGT wrote:eibach stuff is over priced

I have also found out that 12" Camaro brakes, as much stopping power as they provide, REALLY hurt your 1/4 mile ET. At least that's my general finding right about now.
Re: Struts and springs
im not worried about any 1/4 mile times, just stopping these neon wheels

Re: Struts and springs
Have you weighed them in comparison to a stock wheel... 20lbs actually sounds comparable to stock IIRC... Someone had stock wheel weights on bstuff or bnet before, not sure which.
My wheels are ~17lbs and thats "light" in comparison to factory... so 20 shouldn't be all that bad.
