From what you're describing it sounds like a lifter is intermittently collapsing... Did you change your valve springs? You sure all your rockers are tight? No bent pushrods?

I'd start there, then change your oil again, hopefully it will clear up.

All rockers are torqued, unless I somehow missed one. I was pretty careful though. I put comp valvesprings in it.

Like I said, the oil that was in there was really crappy, and the noise is becoming very less frequent(I couldnt make it happen last night). Ill put fresh oil in it and see what happens.

Barry you certainly don't need any more bad luck or mishaps, but one wheel burnouts may be pushing your luck!

Unless you actually LIKE swapping motors?

Hope it clears up for you.

No cams for me. Its all about boost.

Did more work today, and took it for a drive. It runs so nice! Its nuts, it just runs perfect, its almost weird. No knock today either...

Its running 10.9-11.5 afr WOT so therezs some more power in there once I lean it out to my 12.5 target.

Was likely a sticking valve or lifter that has now worked itself into normal consistency.
