Another relatively silly idea: model Beretta contest?
This is pretty out of the woodwork, but never in my days was there a model car contest.
I know this is pretty far out, but since there are a few different model cars --> of our model of car - why not?
I'm willing to help sponsor a model car contest, Beretta models of Beretta models only
, seems neat to me - even if all I can give is a $25 XXXXXX store Gift Card.
Let me know about any feedback, I think it could be neat for us.
I am 100% willing to sponsor it too, and I would love to.

crap, that means I would have to build my 89 GTU model that Amy's father got for me for Christmas last year... Its still wrapped!

Styluss would be a good one to talk to about this, I remember he had a few boxes the last time I saw him. If for nothing else than finding a current (if one exists) manufacturer of the model kits.

I meant for this to go down at Bfest, not on the forum... That's why I posted it there and offered a prize.

I don't think it's a silly idea at all.
I'm not into model building, but the more organized activities that are bundled into B'Fest the better.

So do you mean physically build the models AT bfest? or bring ones you have built and show show them to win best model?

Now THAT would be a silly idea!
I did build models in years gone by, and to do it correctly takes hours!
And it would be all the more difficuly with a beer in your hand!
So I'm going to suggest this be for completed units. Kept hidden and under wraps until the actual competition/showing.

Ok, that's what I thought and that was the same feeling I had... I didn't think it would be possible to output a decent model in those conditions.

It would be for completed model cars for sure. I absolutely agree that to do it properly takes several hours and some fairly solid concentration.
Though I kind of like this idea of drunks wandering around with small plastic Beretta parts glued to their hands, LOL!
