Automatic Locks

Post by darkhorrus »

Ok, so recently my automatic lock/unlock button stopped working... the auto lock when shifting to drive/reverse still works... does anyone know what this could be caused by or how to fix it? could my switch be bad? or is it the wires? help is appreciated =]

Automatic button? Isn't that an oxymoron? Do you mean the powerlock button on the door stopped unlocking your doors?

If so then yes I would go directly for the switch if they still lock when you shift from park, and if they still unlock when you shut the car off.

If they do not unlock when you shut the car off then your missing the auto unlock fuse in your panel.

Did you check the passenger side to see if that works? Very well could be the switch.
