z26 wheels
z26 wheels
i was wondering what any of you guys would pay for a set of 4 z26 wheels in good condition. my z26 was recently involved in an accident ( which wasn't my fault ) and the insurance company totaled. the damage wasnt really that bad it would have needed a new bumper drivers side fender and hood. dont kno wwhy they totaled. anyways i had some crappy aftermarket wheels on the car and i was just thinking about leaving them on and keeping the z26 wheels and selling them. 2 of them have brnad new uniroyal tires and the other 2 dont have any. i have the original lug nuts and all of the covers. i was just wondering what someone would pay for them? thanks.

Re: z26 wheels
Suggestion?
Buy the car back from the insurance company. You'll get a check minus the buyback amount. Then fix it yourself. If not, $100-$150 would be about right for the wheels I would think. GL.

They total because even with that mileage the car is not worth 1500, the damage to repaint and replace that sheet metal exceeds that amount. Buy the car back and fix it yourself. Also next time, don't file a claim, or if you do try to work with the adjuster to get as much as you can for the repairs without totaling it. I had to do that when my pink car got rear ended. I got back 1150 in payments to fix the hood, headlight, rear filler, bumper supports and as they put it "bettering" the car since my original paint was bad. BUT he tweaked it to only say a blending which brought the repair down from 1600 to 1150 and that amount wasn't requesting him to check the value of the car.
I had a new hood, I got the finish pannel for 15, I havent replaced the rear impact shocks yet, and I had headlights, so I just took that 1150 and put it toward my full paint job that I was planning on doing soon.
If you can work with the adjuster it works out great, if they are dicks and don't want to help you then it sucks.

Not mine, they only gave me 1G for it and I had to fight them for four months just to get that much. I put over 6G's into it. But mine was a 90GT.
