I need a GTZ decal pic

Post by Asylum »

The Quad is off to the shop for paint on Saturday and I would really love to get a pic of an original GTZ with the red "2.3 LITER HIGH OUTPUT" decal in place on the rear bumper.

Now before you all tee-off on me that they did not come on '91's I DON'T CARE!

Thanx folks!

I'm embarassed to post this, but here's the only one I have online:
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/258820/2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I know I have a good one at home though. I can even convert it to vector graphics ready for a vinyl shop. I can even cut it at work if you need.

Thanx Woody but let me clarify!

The original GTZ is still on the car! So I KNOW where that goes.

I'm just trying to confirm the correct placement of the red decal.

BYW! Where did you get your CHEVROLET for the bumper? I would love to get a new one.

I got the Chevrolet emblem from VPI. The part# is kicking around one of my threads somewhere. Jon is the one who gave it to me.

Here are a couple pics to help:

Thanx Woody

The ones I have are reproductions, NOT all one piece and say "2.3 LITER HIGH OUTPUT"

The GTZ is seperate, but perfect as far as size goes.

Are there different variants of this thing?

Not that it really matters I suppose. Just trying to make it nice.

FWIW if anyone has THAT ^^ one piece decal in useable condition I have $100 for ya!

Thanx Mike.

If you have a good one I'll take it.

Need a right hand (passenger) dew strip as well if you have an odd one.

VPI might have the decals you need, that's where I got my "Chevrolet". And IIRC, only the 90 GTZ's got the "2.3 DOHC" under the GTZ because in 91 they started offering the v6.

VPI has 5 but I'm going to see what Mikey comes up with first.

He is ALOT easier to deal with on stuff to Canada.

And YES only the '90 had the 2.3 DOHC designation.

I just prefer that, especially on a white car.

Yes, I think it looks good too. The silver/red is a nice color combo. You can tell I like it by looking at my old Z26, the "SS" and the Z71. haha

I just didnt want you to get one from a 91-93 PN and be disappointed when it didnt have it.
