Re: need some more help
Well man I would keep the roll up windows. I have power windows and one motor cost me 70 bucks and from what I have read in the manual it's kind of a PITA to replace one( yes I still don't have it in). I'm thinking about swaping to the doors that I have downstairs that have roll ups. I need new doors anyway.
Keeping the roll ups would save you time and money in the long run.

Replacing the regulator assembly is really really easy. I can do them in under 30 minutes pending your door panel comes off in one piece and it has not been hacked into previously.
The regulator is about 10-20 bucks from a local salvage yard.
Now if you have a newer car or a foreign car with the cable configuration, those are a little more time consuming.

I know what you have and I was simply stating that if you own/ed a NEWER vehicle (A beretta is NOT by any means considered a newer vehilce) that it would be slightly more involved.

My dad's 02 Surburban. Its a PITA. He has replaced that thing now I think 3 times. Only the driver's side door is doing it.
Edit:
I meant to say, it used the cable thing, but is still simple to replace, the unit is an assembly.

I dont understand your wording. You says it's a "PITA" and "simple" to replace. It's either one or the other.DTMAce wrote:My dad's 02 Surburban. Its a PITA. He has replaced that thing now I think 3 times. Only the driver's side door is doing it.

LOL
Its a pain in the ass because it has happened 3 times. But yes in his case it is fairly easy to replace that particular unit.
