Re: best way to apply decals
Get a soapy fluid (1 drop of Dawn mixed in about 16oz of lukewarm water). Mix it up (don't get it too sudsy).
Clean the car where the decal will be applied thoroughly.
Apply the soapy solution to the back of the decal and the area that the decal is going. The solution allows you to position the decal where you want it. Once it's located where you want it, squeegee the water out from under the decal using a squeegee or a credit card. Allow the solution to evaporate/dry and remove the masking over the decal.
I've heard you can use Windex to do this as well. Some auto parts stores sell a solution for applying window tint which works as well.

Be careful if you use Windex or soap, it may break down the adhesive and it wont stick.
I killed some vinyl graphics by using Windex. Plain water might work too.

Re: best way to apply decals
Small decals like the Z26 ones I always do dry. Make sure the area is super clean, lay it down (be careful to position it correctly) and flatten it out good with a credit card. Start at one end and flatten to the other. Then just peel the backer. Done in less than 30 seconds.
Bigger decals need the soapy solution to make sure there are no trapped air bubbles, but the smaller ones really dont.
