bstuff dying a slow death?
Re: bstuff dying a slow death?
Do I count as a regular? LMAO
I just got up a bit ago, (had a long ass night) and thought to check on it today. Whoops.
Oh well, like it better over here anyways. But I have to agree. It would be nicer if we had just one place rather than 2 (or almost 3) lol

Well I would certainly never be considered a B'Stuff fan, however it is unfortunate in it's timing with B'Fest just a couple of weeks away, as it is obviously a valuable conduit for people making arrangements.
If however it all results in one harmonized site (which I doubt will ever happen) it would be nice.
I would however take some "purging!"

You need to be more of an optimist.

Oh, and the 3rd Beretta site I mentioned...

Re: bstuff dying a slow death?
Lets not bring up Loosenuts website... that will just go sour REAL quick. Just a note, if anything is said regarding that website your post WILL be deleted. (this goes along with what Cliff said)
But yes, I do remember a lot of organization posts being made on Bstuff for Beretta Fest, and unfortunately now those are all in lingo... Hopefully those users realize they can come here to discuss it as well.

Re: bstuff dying a slow death?
Bstuff down again? lol this is a regular occurrence anymore... Merging both would be a great idea...
Re: bstuff dying a slow death?
merging both would be a bad idea... bstuff= drama, cant spell bstuff without the bs. beretta.net= hardly any drama or bs threads. i like that idea.

Re: bstuff dying a slow death?
I am talking merging info and archives...ect People should just grow up and then there would be no drama..lol
Re: bstuff dying a slow death?
Back in the day when i was a regular in a group called Mercury Rising, the 'owner' grew tired of it and it merged into FourEyedPride.com. It was 'archived' as a forum in the list of forums on that site so if someone wanted something specific from what was on that site all they had to do was log into the FourEyedPride site and find the Mercury Rising forum and BAM they had all the old stuff.
Something worth considering if BStuff is indeed picked up.

Re: bstuff dying a slow death?
the problem with that is that with multiple forum engines there is not always an easy way to interconnect the databases. look at some of the gibberish in the older posts and you can see some of what i mean. If i were to bring the content over here I would convert any of the old how-to threads to articles like I have planned for what is here currently, converting hundreds of posts into a coherent article is a full time job right now though, so it is kinda on the back burner till after bfest. I do want to talk to a few people about various aspects of this site while we are all there though.
Re: bstuff dying a slow death?
theres always going to be drama, and besides that, personally, i like the idea of them being seperated, i like bstuff more, nothing against beretta.net, just a personal preference.jene wrote:I am talking merging info and archives...ect People should just grow up and then there would be no drama..lol
