Crashing Coolers and more..BFest 2010
Crashing Coolers and more..BFest 2010
What an awesome BFest it was this year. Thanks to everyone who helped put it together this year, I am already ready for 2011 BFest!
Thanks to Asylum & Rodney for bringing Canadian beer, it was good..even though I got yelled at to GO GET ICE, PUT IT IN A BUCKET , put it in a bag ! haha
I enjoyed seeing those of you I already knew and meeting those I didn't know yet! Made new friends and had tons of fun.
Things that really made me laugh; Mary coming to sit on the styrafoam cooler by me,..like it was a big tough sturdy cooler and crashing down onto the ground and the cooler breaking into bits and pieces.
Me giving Mary my drivers License thinking it was the room key, after a few Canadian beers I swear they looked the same!
I think I said hi & waved to Mark (dissumulated like 100 times sat night ) + probably some others too.. by then I was 7 beers in, + a cup of antifreeze , which I really don't know if I drank or completely missed my mouth, and some of Mary's PomBombs..
And then when there was only like 6 of us left around 4 something am Sunday morning and the cop pulled in to talk to us; Cack was explaining things and slowly falling over..so Mike jumped in to the rescue- Thanks Mike!!!
So much more to mention... but on to the pics;
Here are my pics on Facebook (feel free to tag yourself/car in the photos) ; http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2 ... fedbd11203
And here are my pics on SmugMug (for non Facebook users), I have it set up w/ a password since I use the site for my business/clients as well, the password is chicago ; http://kellywhitman.smugmug.com/Cars/BF ... 6853_wxSbe

No more Canadian beer for you!
Well until next time we meet! You two were hilarious bringing down the little buckets of ice and then grabbing the Molson Canadian.
YOU CRUSHED MY $1.99 cooler?
That is gonna cost ya!
Good people and good new friends

Yes, it seems that, sadly enough, no Beretta Event is complete until a styrofoam cooler dies.

Sadly Eric, I forgot the chorus I wrote for you when you had lost your cooler at the shack...

I'll never forget that cop:
"Just tell me what I need to hear..."
It was an open invitation, and so I pounced!
"Don't worry, this will all be cleaned up... and yes we will keep it down..."
"Thank you sir, have a good night..." And off she went!
She thought we were fighting, when really it was Pat, Jon, and I yelling "WHAT?!" and "YEAH!" like we had done all weekend.

Ah ha ha! This must have gone down right after I went to bed. I was there for the first visit by an officer that night though. He pulled up right next to Cack and we were all like "NO! Dont talk to Cack!!". But he did about the same thing, rolled up and said something to the effect of "It seems like you are all having fun and all is well... enjoy your night" and he drove off.

LOL, Mary destroyed that cooler. It was funny because I didn't hear her say two words the whole weekend, and then saturday night she turned into a different person. I think she was proud that she crushed Eric 2 dollar cooler!

And then sunday morning all she said to me was that she was afraid what was going to happen to those videos.

haha , so anyone else remember Cack spraying a crapload of bug spray around us in the tent Sat night?!!!!! I think he may have used the whole container.. and it made my beer taste like bug spray..not a good combo!
Next year make sure you all check for memo's from Eric too-- I guess I was the only one this year that got his Pink Shirt memo.
