Yet you have to turn 5500 RPM cruising on the street for the damn thing to shift... Talk about annoying.Sir Cranky wrote:It is way smarter than even me!

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd
It's only ~4500 and with 3.73's it's really not very fast, and even that is because I'm too damn lazy to drill another hole and move the cable an inch.3X00-Modified wrote:Yet you have to turn 5500 RPM cruising on the street for the damn thing to shift... Hell I just brought it home and that was the first time I have driven it in about a month.

Oh, did Shane buy Mike's car?
I still have Mike's struts sitting in my garage! (And now that my exhaust is quieter I can hear those stupid Monroes squeak) haha

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd
So as an update... it barely did better than 15s at the track. Ran 14.7@93 with a slipping clutch. I just called SPEC and they said I can't use a new Stage 3+ disc with my '09 Stage 2 pressure plate because they changed carrier thicknesses to simplify their manufacturing process with standard sizes. I'm sure this change had something to do with Robert's SPEC problems earlier this year.
So I'm looking at $469 for a new Stage 3+ or finding another option somewhere.
