SLAMMED
well lately ive been going on to www.scene-media.com and they have some sick slammed clean rides and i was giving it thought of doing this with my GTU, lower it maybe 2 inchs then put some crazy offset wheels and attempt to camber both the front and the back...i know you cant do the back but i looked at my rear and thought of sumthing stupid. heat up the rear and bend it alittle.tell me what you think or what i should do
Re: SLAMMED
My first suggestion would be to don your flamesuit. You will be getting alot of this:
in the upcoming posts.
Now, the only way I can think of to get the car slammed is to have coilovers or air bag suspension. As far as I'm aware, neither are available for our cars. I think the lowest spring setup we have is from Canuck Springs.
Our cars aren't meant for this kind of thing. You want this style of stance, you're better off with a Honda or a Volkswagen. The scene there is HUGE and you'll have TONS of support from the aftermarket community.
As far as "heat up the rear and bend it alittle." makes me think you're talking about bending the rear axle. I would NOT do this. I don't know the science as to why, but for some reason that sounds a bit suicidal.
Offset, too much and you'll rub like a motherf*cker. We don't have a stiff enough suspension to support that kind of drop, unless you want to do some fab work to put in some coilovers.
My thought, don't do it.

Ah yes... the slam and flush BS that's now popular just like fart cannons were before.
Do you have any idea what camber is for? Because those who do this obviously do not.

Sad but so true... I remember him trying to explain to the officer that we would be quite... And the whole time he was walking around in his boxers...scd88ga wrote:NoNo, you got it all wrong, Cack leaves on the shirt and takes off the pants!MY91GT(Z) wrote:where did you find a pic of CACK LOL J/P^^^^^![]()

Yeah, I realized that after my first BFest/CackShack experience this year that I didn't come anywhere close to consuming enough alcohol to properly cope with my disturbing surroundings....................!3X00-Modified wrote:Sad but so true...
