I just wanted to introduce myself I'm Alex. Im 19 from right outside of Philly. My main passion is fieros & El caminos my parents bought an 87 fiero gt fully loaded 5 speed for my mom new and she still drives it with 160k and never had a problem and up until I was 2or3 my dad had a 71 El Camino ss clone with a 406bbc and a tunnel ram ran a 12 flat but with 3 kids &those. 2 cars one had to go.

After I paint the buiit 350 79 El Camino I just bought for a daily driver I plan on building a

Turbo (with the sc staying on) 3800 Indy Beretta clone. I have 2 sets of yellow Indy body pieces and interior pieces (one set of parts will be listed soon to help funding). I also picked up 2 cowl hoods and. Scored a supercharged gtp motor yesterday(might sell since I don't have the car)

Any advice or comments on my ideas?

The 3800 swap is a pain in the butt unless you're really good with wiring and fabrication!

You have to get a car first then people can help. There are many changes over the years. Looks like you have someone to help if you really want to go with the 3.8.

Yea my dad has been doing/working for over 30 years and now owns part of a hydraulic/heavy machinery,m welding and fabrication with a big machine shop business so I can get parts machined from solid billet if needed.hell I'd love to do a v8 rwd prostreet car but my budget wouldn't come close so it'll be a lot of junkyard and modified parts.

I just bought a nice all options except leather and sunroof(99% sure but it went right to my bros shop) 99 grand prix gt 2 door 1 year old quality paint job,newer tires with the nicer looking skinny 5 spokes it was from a buddy who's Girl was driving it and it just died at a stop light so I'm guessing its a battery and alternator if so I scored big time.

but later today I'm going to strip a gtp that just came into a local junkyard and take the motor,trans,harness,computer etc so if I keep it that will be going in if not ill have a full gtp swapped tucked away best

Also although i have Indy parts + cowl Hood tucked away that'll be for sale/ill list today or tomorrow I'm not sure what their woprth any suggestions?
Im wondering because a yellow Indy came into a local yard and its basically decent the car has rust around the windows but all the Indy parts except wheels are there and in decent shape except the from ground fx has a crack but I can easily fix it. The side of the drivers seat is worn but the yellow stripes/center is good. The other seats almost look new. The headrests and the side skirts/rear bumper are or
Perfect.
If its worth it I'll strip it today but cash is tight so unless it's worth it I cant afford to have stuff sit around.

Also a buddy has a second cowl induction Hood for 200 its in great shape and it's finished and was fitted by a body shop before his custom paint
he sold the car awhile ago but kept the hood
is it worth his asking price

I'm not.Usually the type to buy and sell but I need the cash vti fund my projects I just started working again after a year but vduring that time I repair/build new and used custom,or ill buy rebuild and clean piece by piece hobby grade rc cars I worked at a hobby shop until they closed.

Berettas I passed on the one it literally looked like someone made it. The one I have is in great shape
