Nosy Be Panther Chameleon
Just thought I would let you guys see the new pet that the girl and I got.

That's him earlier today after he had been sun bathing for a while. His name is Silas and it's greek for forest and trees although hes a jungle creature we figured the name fit fairly well. The Nosy Be part of his breed is named from the island he is found on off the coast of Madagascar.

This is Silas when we where checking him out in the store it's one of the best pictures of him being bright that we have been able to get thus far.

This is him after his long nights trip to his new home in the snow and teen temps wasn't ideal time to bring him home but better then the blizzard we are sitting in right now. Hope that you guys like him!!!

I do. Sure hope he has a big place to live and lots of things to climb on. Oh and find out about vitamins for him. Change up the living space from time to time. A friend would be nice, but that is more of a pain in the butt.

Yeah he has the big cage recomended for his size he has to have crickets with a calcum and D3 suplament dusted on them. A friend would be nice but hes extreamly social hes been handled since he was a baby so that also helps.

Don't forget about back up power for your heat lamps just in case the power goes out.

You know I hadn't thought about that yet that was something I had to worry about when I had my fish.
