As an update...engine is together and i'm to the point that i now need my car home from the storage unit it is in...and that will happen this weekend!!!

Im still envious of you Ron! I want to bring my car home to do work, but i have dirt everywhere and no protection from the elements right now

Alright guys...ALOT of progress today this is what i got done today...


And a warning for you weak stomachs...turn away NOW!!!...CARNAGE FOLLOWS...
The bottom of the pan when i pulled it...

...that big chunk in the pan was a piece of piston skirt:

...cap bearings were toast...

...can you say galling???

...this one was COMPLETELY gone...

...mains didn't look much better...

...but after busting my ass all day, i got it out. Now for some clean up and to put the new one in. Stay tuned!!!
